Hello OvationNetwork!

Finally, the long awaited OvationNetwork 1.8 Update is now slowly but surely, coming to a release, and I wanted to take a few moments to list what we have done and answer a few questions, that have been commonly asked! But first! Some things you should know about the Update :P

When will OvationNetwork be updated to 1.9/1.10?
Probably never, despite many liking how PvP is now fair and all strategy in 1.9/1.10, I, myself love the 1.8 PvP System (1.7 PvP still better though imo )

Minecraft 1.8 was released almost 2 year ago, why are you updating now?! Damn it, Assassin.
1.7 was by far my favourite Minecraft version, and my first server started
off as 1.7. But as time came, it was time to upgrade to 1.8, as a lot of plugins were updating to 1.8, and having a 1.7/1.8 client-split server brought along a lot of problems such as Anvil not being usable or having 1.8 users complaining about the restriction of not being able to use the 1.8 blocks, and it was all just very chaotic. So the decision was made to upgrade to 1.8.

Why is the Server Update so delayed, I thought it was suppose to be released in August?
Yes, but unfortunately, due to a private matter I had to put the update on hold,
and OMG went on a vacation cruise, lucky bastard 

Since the server is unlikely to be 1.9/1.10 what will happen to Server Updates?
The server will remain 1.8, but will have several plugin updates,
along with map resets and various other minor updates to the server.
